The challenge
Expandable wanted to sell a model that did not physically exist. No prototype, no photos, and still sales had to start straight away. How do you sell something that isn't there yet?
Our approach
The idea: let customers configure their own trailer and give them a quote on the spot, long before one is built. We made the imagery with 3D and AI, and the configurator puts every quote straight into Expandable's internal system. We then automated loading new models: STEP files in, placed, updated.
The result
The first sale came during the test phase, and the sales cycle became 65% faster. A configurator round that took a full working day now takes a quarter of a day. What we save there goes into innovation. Expandable has worked with us since 2022.
