The Real Director · your own TID on site

Your processes automated. The AI stays yours.

AI changes every company profoundly. The opportunity and the gain are there, but somebody has to go and get them and lock them into systems that keep running. A TID automates your processes, starting with marketing and sales, and builds AI software that stays your property, on your own shop floor.

What a TID is

The role that carries innovation out.

Technical Innovation Director, TID for short. One hired specialist from THE REAL MAG. delivers the capacity of a full in-house innovation department, carried by fifteen years of innovating and running a business. The role automates your processes, builds and maintains the AI software around them, and keeps improving those systems for as long as we work together.

Why a TID

Working systems change your company. For good.

Real change happens on the shop floor, in your processes and in your figures. Companies that put this role in place get faster, more profitable and more independent. What that delivers in concrete terms is further down, measured at one client: 117 hours a month.

Ownership over subscription

Software you own yourself

You pay for the build, not for access.

  • Your own software, built on your processes
  • Owner of your own data and your own logic
  • Nobody between you and your figures

Built on the shop floor

Systems that keep running

It carries on when the engagement stops.

  • Bookkeeping, planning, quotations and invoicing, built in house
  • AI does the work, you keep control
  • No dependence on suppliers

Visible from day one

A result you can point at

No cure no pay on the first day.*

  • On site, a fixed day every week
  • The quick wins first, then build on
  • What we build that day is yours

* Applies to the first single day on site. See the general terms and conditions, article 12.

What a TID builds

From scattered processes to software that takes the work over.

Not loose tools glued together, but systems built on your company and strengthened with AI. From running the business to delivering the work, your creative and production process included. These systems are running today, at THE REAL MAG. itself and at clients.

The engine is the same everywhere and only the content differs, from a webshop to a manufacturer and from a wholesaler to a local authority.

Administration

Bookkeeping & invoicing

Invoices, bank statements and the ledger process themselves. AI reads the documents and posts them, you keep the overview.

Operations

Planning & quotations

Quotations, follow-up and planning in one process. The system drafts, watches the deadlines and keeps the status, so nothing is left lying around.

Automation

Automating processes

Repetitive work disappears from your process, from moving data and reporting to marketing, creation and production. AI takes the repetition over, your team gets back to the substance.

AI agents

AI agents & assistants

Agents prepare emails, leads and customer questions and handle them within your rules. They run on your own data, not on a supplier's.

Insight

Dashboards & figures

One dashboard shows where your company stands right now. Revenue, margin, outstanding invoices and stock come together out of your existing systems.

Bespoke

Your own systems, made to measure

A recurring problem or an idea of your own that no off-the-shelf tool solves gets a system of its own. It starts small and grows modularly once it works.

What we believe

AI helps build it. You own it.

Scroll along and see what changes on the shop floor once a TID starts.

01

This is how your company works today.

Marketing, sales, creation, service, administration, planning, stock and production. Every process runs on its own, dependent on people and separate tools. It works, and it costs too much time.

02

The TID starts on your shop floor.

We connect your whole company to one core, from running the business to delivering the work, and we start with the process that costs the most time.

03

We build the system with AI.

Administration, planning, stock and production run without manual work. Marketing, sales, creation and service come from one source. Every part we deliver works from day one, within your rules.

04

After that it stays yours.

Your software, your data, your head start. The system sits on your balance sheet instead of in your monthly costs.

The proof

We run on what we build.

Everything below was built in house and is working today at THE REAL MAG. We put the same systems in place at your company.

Marketing

Advertising that corrects itself

Our advertising is watched, analysed and improved every day by our own AI. Since that step it performs better than in the months before.

Administration

Bookkeeping that keeps itself up to date

Invoices, bank statements, VAT and the ledger run here without data entry. AI reads the documents and posts them, we only check the exceptions.

Sales

Leads recognised and prepared

Our AI recognises website visitors, qualifies them and puts a draft email ready. The groundwork is done before anyone starts.

Knowledge

An AI brain on our own hardware

All our knowledge, clients and systems come together in one AI brain on our own server. It gets better every day and grows with the company.

Running here now

From an hours factory to a returns factory. Our systems carry the fixed costs, the hours worked are the profit.

Proven at a client

Two days of building delivers 117 hours a month.

The volumes below come from one real month, counted in the system's log files. The time per task is calculated conservatively, see the note under the table. The client is a mid-sized company with two locations and customers in the Netherlands and Germany. After those two days the system handled the quotations, the customer correspondence, the administration and the marketing itself.

What now runs without manual work

Quotation systemA request produces a quotation in the house style, with a covering email, in two languages.
Email systemAll outgoing customer mail is drafted and made ready to send, with a style check beforehand.
Document systemOrder confirmations and invoices come from one brand source. One change works through everywhere.
Receivables systemReminders follow a fixed schedule and outstanding invoices are monitored.
Purchasing systemSupplier invoices are pulled out of the mailbox and passed on to the bookkeeping.
Content systemEvery morning text, image, video and story appear. The system posts them itself and reports back in the evening.
Advertising systemCampaigns, budgets and copy are steered centrally.
The safety netA back-up every half hour, monitoring on every connection, and a status report every day.

What that saves in manual work

Manual work saved per month, counted in the system log files
Task Volume Hours
Working out and formatting quotations 120 documents, 31 requests processed 50.3 h
Writing and sending customer emails 58 emails, ten minutes each 9.7 h
Order confirmations and invoices 25 documents 7.5 h
Checking reminders and follow-up every working day 5.0 h
Purchase invoices into the bookkeeping 32 invoices 2.7 h
Creating and posting content 31 items: text, image, video and story 23.3 h
Rewriting advertising copy 52 ads 8.7 h
Lists, daily status and back-up every working day 10.0 h
Per month, counted conservatively 117 h

The times used are conservative. An email is counted at ten minutes, formatting a quotation at twenty, a fifteen second video with music at three quarters of an hour. Convert it to your own hourly rate and for most companies the payback period is a matter of weeks. The biggest gain is not in the table, because that is the quotation that does not sit waiting and the supplier invoice that does not surface only with the reminder.

The future-proof scan

The diagnosis first, then the route.

Not every company has to start straight away. Sometimes the first question is where you stand now, and whether there is already a course set. That is what the future-proof scan is for. We walk along on your shop floor, at your pace. You decide in advance what we look at and everything stays confidential.

Domain 1

Online marketing & findability

From your advertising to how findable you are in AI search engines (GEO). Where do you stand, what is left unused, and what can AI add there in the short term?

Domain 2

Creation & content

How your imagery, copy and campaigns come about. Where AI adds speed and quality, and where it dilutes your brand if you do not steer it.

Domain 3

Technology & way of working

Your processes, tools and data. What is ready for AI, what is holding you back, and which part can you build and own instead of keep renting?

01
On your shop floor

Full days on site, walking along with the work as it really happens.

02
An honest verdict

Per domain you see whether you are ahead, on course, or whether there is a gap. A verdict on your systems and your opportunities, never on you or your team.

03
Roadmap plus proof

A concrete route forward. Where we can, we build a working component alongside it as proof.

04
Fixed price

Known in advance, no settling up afterwards. You know what it costs before we start, and what you get for it.

TID on hire

One day a week on site. Settled on results.

A fixed day every week on your shop floor, where we build alongside you and secure everything so you can carry on without us.

01
Intro call

Together we look at where the time and the money leak away, and how much of that AI can solve.

02
Building on site

We build alongside your team, so the knowledge stays in house.

03
Secured in your ownership

You get working software that you own and understand. Documented, and not dependent on us or on a supplier.

04
No cure no pay*

If the first day on site does not satisfy you, we do not invoice it. Our interest is your result, not our hours.

* No cure no pay applies to a single day on site, and then to the first day. If that day does not satisfy you, we do not invoice it. What we build that day is yours as soon as the day is paid for. For a fixed engagement, a fixed project price or a scan, we agree the result in the quotation beforehand. See the general terms and conditions, article 12.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

A Technical Innovation Director carries out technical innovation inside an organisation. The role automates processes, builds and maintains AI software, and keeps improving the systems. You hire the role for a fixed day each week, on site.

A short, sharp review of your company across three domains. Online marketing and findability (AI search engines included), creation and content, and technology and way of working. We walk along on your shop floor, and you decide in advance what we do and do not see. Everything stays confidential. Per domain you get an honest verdict (ahead, on course, or a gap) on your systems and your opportunities, plus a concrete roadmap and, where we can, working proof straight away. Fixed price, known in advance. Also suitable as a baseline measurement for a board or an investor.

Because we have done it ourselves. Our own company runs on systems we built, from an administration that processes itself to an AI brain on our own hardware. What we put in place at your company is already running at ours.

The guarantee applies to a single day on site, and then to the first day. If that day does not satisfy you, we do not invoice it. What we build that day is yours as soon as the day is paid for. For a fixed engagement, a fixed project price or a scan, we agree the result in the quotation beforehand.

It is set out that way in the general terms and conditions, article 12.

We build AI software that is yours. Your data, your logic, your property, running in your own environment. AI is used during the build, after which the system carries on by itself, with no compulsory subscription.

No. We build alongside you on the shop floor and deliver working systems. Your team learns as we go, and at the end you are left with software, not a certificate.

Any organisation with recurring process work. The basis is the same everywhere: work that comes in, work that goes out, and in between the quotations, the planning, the administration, the stock and the customer questions. You automate that core the same way everywhere, from a webshop to a manufacturer and from a wholesaler to a local authority. Our deepest experience is in e-commerce and retail, and the systems THE REAL MAG. runs on are the proof of it, but most of it transfers directly.

Book an introduction

Find out where you stand to gain the most time.

In an introductory conversation we go through your processes and discuss what AI can mean in them. Whether that starts with the scan or with a fixed day each week on site, we decide together.

One conversation. We look at your processes with you. Together we decide where it starts.

How we work

What I put in place for you is already running here.

Our own agency runs entirely this way. Orders, quotations, the bookkeeping and even the routine work in 3D and in code all run on their own. So you are not getting advice I still have to try out, but what has been running here for months.
