The challenge
Sumisura makes tables to measure and wanted customers to pick those dimensions themselves. But a cloud configurator was too heavy and too expensive at this scale. The solution had to be affordable and still able to grow.
Our approach
The idea: let the visitor's device do the computing. We built a 3D table configurator that runs locally, and developed the website alongside it so the two fit together seamlessly. We translated the design by Studio 3Diep into technology without taking anything away from it.
The result
75% lower monthly costs than a cloud solution, 80% time saved in the process and almost zero order errors.
