Multi-user VR fire training on up to 20 headsets at once.
A multi-user VR fire safety simulation with a central dashboard.
The challenge
Smit en Partouns has been training emergency response officers for thirty years. You cannot rehearse a real fire. They wanted VR training in which two trainees work together, the rest of the group watches along, and everything runs on the low-end headsets they already had.

Our approach
We built a realistic VR environment optimised for light hardware, plus a dashboard that lets the instructor watch along and remotely start the right level in every headset. One application drives up to twenty headsets at once.
The result
Practising dangerous situations without danger, more cheaply and more often. And because everything in the environment is measurable, you see per trainee what went well and what did not. Measuring is improving.

“The VR environment has taken our first-aid course to a new dimension, which appeals to large and small companies alike”
