Fridges for bars and shops. First as a 3D model for the web, now where they actually stand.
For the online point-of-sale catalogue of an international brewer we built the fridges in 3D, for a web configurator and 360 turntables. Now we place the same models in their real environment with AI.
The brief
An international brewer built an online catalogue of point-of-sale materials: everything a bar, supermarket or kiosk can get from the brand. The fridges needed a 3D configurator, per brand, with the door hinged left or right, a glass or printed door and filled with bottles.
Then: 3D for the web
The manufacturer supplied CAD models of almost half a million polygons, far too heavy for a browser. We remodelled the coolers, three times lighter with the same detail, and delivered a web model, 360 turntables and renders on a studio background for each brand.
Now: the same fridge, in its own world
The 3D model stays the source: model, brand, door, bottles and proportions do not change. The AI layer puts the fridge where it belongs, in a taco bar at night, a supermarket or a sports bar, with light glowing from the fridge and people around it. That is how a studio render becomes a campaign image.
