Selling before the first spade. A four-square-kilometre holiday park in 360° and VR.
Arcus Zuid wanted to sell a holiday park that did not exist yet, and to know whether the design worked. One 3D environment did both.
The challenge
Arcus Zuid was developing a holiday park and had two questions at once. Does the design actually hold up once you are standing among the buildings? And who can visualise an area of some four square kilometres, including future phases, for the sales campaign?
Our approach
The idea: one environment for design and sales. We moved to software that shows areas that large photorealistically and instantly. That let us walk through the park together, watch the sun move live and fine-tune the design before anything was fixed.
The result
From that same environment came an affordable 360° and VR export for sales. The buyer stands in their holiday home before the first spade goes into the ground, and the developer knew earlier that the design was right. Sales went faster, in Arcus Zuid's own words.
